Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the eldest of three daughters, was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to psychotherapist[8] Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a former real estate developer who's grandfather moved to Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki is also of Polish origin. She attended Greenwich High School 1996. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2000 with the degree of English and sociology. She is a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki participated in backstroke swimming with the William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki began her professional journey in 2001, working for the reelection campaigns run by Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later named deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign for 2004. From 2005 to the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced that Psaki will be an analyst in 2022's United States elections, and during the 2024 presidential election. She will also host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming service in 2023. Her first television appearance was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 30, where she talked about the Robb Elementary School shooting.
